Halsey Island attachment locations
GENERALL’s September 2025 attachment-location guide documents several useful stops on Halsey Island. Start with a location near you and check its less obvious rooms before traveling elsewhere.

Around the racetrack, the same guide identifies a lockbox behind a safe inside a nearby house. It also shows a metal box concealed in hay inside a small shack near the track. These are useful additional checks when you are already searching that area.
For Soviet attachments, GENERALL points to Tango beside water treatment. Look inside a tent for a Soviet surplus container next to sandbags. The guide also mentions less certain possibilities around Beaufort Cave, but its clearer landmark directions make the locations above easier starting points.
Mackinaw Island attachment locations
The Mackinaw portion of GENERALL’s guide begins at 4:28. Its directions emphasize elevated spaces and containers tucked beneath furniture.

Lockport’s second building is easier to identify visually than from a text description. Use the video to match the building before searching; the directions do not establish a precise map coordinate.
Naval, Magnolia, and Casino reports
A September 2025 reply in the Apocalypse Rising Wiki attachment discussion recommends additional locations:
- Naval: Search yellow crates near the helicopter and in the room where a burst pistol can spawn.
- Magnolia: Check around the stationed helicopter. The commenter also mentions a rooftop, but does not identify the building precisely.
- Casino: Inspect the machine associated with attachment loot. The commenter reports grips and lasers there.
Casino has another supporting player report in the comments on Larry’s January 2026 loot guide. That player describes finding suppressors, sights, a Folded Grip, and a Short Grip at a machine.
The reports agree that Casino is worth checking, but the YouTube commenter additionally claims a guaranteed attachment spawn. That spawn rate has not been officially confirmed. Neither comment provides enough detail to identify the exact machine confidently from text alone.
Finding a suppressor and planning your search
For a specific suppressor opportunity, visit the luxury house and look for the Hitman. GENERALL’s guide shows the Hitman dropping a Professional Suppressor after being defeated. The guide describes this as a possible drop, so plan another stop if the item does not appear.
A practical search sequence is:
- Choose the nearest documented area. Start with Ashland, Fairview, the radio station, or Lockport if you are nearby.
- Check every listed spot there. Include basements, concealed rooms, tower tops, and containers beneath tables.
- Use the container label alongside its appearance. GENERALL shows yellow cases repeatedly, while one commenter recommends black or green crates; color alone is an incomplete guide.
- Continue to another location if necessary. The walkthrough demonstrates empty containers without establishing a reliable respawn timer.
